About Foreign Languages For Kids By Kids

Foreign Language for Kids by Kids® is a program that uses a combination of workbooks, games, classes, and award-winning videos to work with a unique learning style to effectively learn Spanish. Foreign Languages for Kids by Kids has been conceptualized and designed by Kit Strauss and officially founded the company which goes with the same name in 2011. Our aims to promote fun, engaging and positive new approach to learning languages in a way that kids will speak Spanish in practical, relevant life-like situations that they can easily relate to and follow.

Foreign Languages for Kids by Kids Humble Beginning

Kit Strauss is a suburban Maryland mom and lawyer-turned-entrepreneur. She has a Law Degree from the University of Virginia and also went to Cornell University. She knows the importance of learning a second language and would like her three sons to be exposed with language education at an early age. Unable to find quality foreign language programs and better educational materials for her children in the market, she was inspired instead to create better products for her kids.

Foreign Languages for Kids by Kids, is the product of years of studying and experimenting with the most positive and successful ways to learn Spanish. We use a fresh approach to learning foreign languages. The video program teaches Spanish through short stories of kids speaking Spanish in a variety of practical, but amusing, real-life situations.

All the videos are full immersion, infusing creative and entertaining graphics and visuals to help children understand, remember, and laugh as they learn. The lessons build on each other, gently introducing immersion, and gradually adding vocabulary so children do not feel overwhelmed or intimidated.

Because of the continuous development and a wider selection of programs and products that our humble company offers, all the blood and effort had paved way. Foreign Language for Kids by Kids® has been recognized by experts having won more than 15 top education awards in the first two years of its operation for our Spanish DVD videos series and Spanish board game called “Dice Off”. We have garnered Creative Child Program of Scooter Bay Media’s 2013’s “Game of the Year Award” to FLK’s Dice Off™, and “Media of the Year Award” to FLK’s Spanish language educational DVD. In its first year, the Spanish DVD has won 7 awards, 5 of them in Education.
