About Rogue Bear Press

Rogue Bear Press is the home of grand adventures for children and teens. We produce books and enrichment programs that are FRIGHTENINGLY FUN, but also SLYLY EDUCATIONAL. Our unique ACCELEREADER program builds better readers, and allows young readers to grow with the characters they read about.  Our books are designed to do more than just tell great stories.  We give children tools to help them grow.  We entertain them, but also inspire them; make them laugh, but also make them think.  We take them to new worlds, but also give them new perspectives on their own.

Rogue Bear Press also produces entertaining educational enrichment programs.  We believe that CHILDREN LEARN BY DOING, so in our interACTIVE adventures, the KIDS are the real stars of the show! 

Our premier event is the Library Skills-building MONSTER HUNT, a grand adventure in which kids develop research skills as they track down and capture a lurking monster!  Every child learns to use the library’s research resources including the library catalog and Dewey Decimal System to locate hidden clues that lead to the monsters secret lair! And we cultivate the writer inside every child with our Destination: INSPIRATION! InterACTIVE StoryCrafting Program - school assemblies and writing workshops that educate, entertain, and inspire! Children learn the elements of story crafting – by USING them to help award-winning author Jason Edwards create a madcap adventure right on the spot! Every child can create characters, choose settings, produce dialog, and advance the plot in this wild, interACTIVE activity! 

Additionally, our authors are continually performing book-themed programs at schools, libraries and bookstores, as well as conducting book talks, book readings, and book signings.  And we are constantly coming up with new programs in collaboration with our constituent librarians.
